Don't Graduate. Celebrate.

Van Wilder (TWO GUYS AND A GIRL’s Ryan Reynolds) is this generation’s version of Peter Pan. He doesn’t want to grow up, so he decides to remain an undergraduate at good-old Coolidge College...for seven years! To Van, college is like his own personal Love. Unfortunately, his ship is about to hit an iceberg in the form of his own father, Vance Wilder, Sr. Steamed over his son’s inability to step foot off campus grounds, Vance Sr. refuses to pay any more tuition. But Van loves being Joe College too much to roll over that easily. With the help of his devoted assistant Taj, Van decides to swing his own tuition...by party-planning for profit! Legions of nerds begin paying him to arrange events from dorm mixers to topless tutoring sessions. Van’s irrepressible antics soon anoint him King of the Campus, even winning over Gwen (AMERICAN PIE’s Tara Reid), the school journalist who’s supposed to write an expose on his nearly decade-long tenure at Coolidge. In fact, the only one not won over by Van is Gwen’s boyfriend Richard, a pompous Frat Guy who embarks on a fanatical quest to overthrow Van’s “kingdom” at all costs. Hilariously irreverent and undeniably entertaining, VAN WILDER is hip collegiate comedy at its best.
